LEARNING OBJECTIVES: œ Recognize the importance of OSHA recordkeeping and reporting. œ Identify the workplace actions that are in compliance with the OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements. œ Distinguish between OSHA recordable and non-recordable cases. œ Apply the appropriate procedures for determining if a case is OSHA recordable. œ Determine the appropriate category for a recordable case. TOPICS COVERED: œ Purpose (of the rule) œ Partial Exemption œ Size Exemption œ Industry Exemption œ Recording Criteria œ General Recording Criteria œ Forms œ Covered Employees œ Annual Summary œ Retention and Updating œ Change of Ownership œ Employee Involvement œ Prohibition against Discrimination œ State Plans œ Fatality/Catastrophe Reporting œ Providing Records to Government Representatives TESTING: Quizzes - All quizzes must be passed with a 100% to proceed forward to the next lesson. Final Exam- Final Exam must be passed with a 70% to pass the course. The final exam can be taken three times if necessary.
