This course focuses on the topics covered in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart D. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: œ What is OSHA hazard communication standard? œ What are the benefits of Hazard communication standard? œ What is the asbestos standard for construction? œ What is the permissible exposure limit? œ How to perform exposure monitoring? TOPICS COVERED: œ Introduction œ What Are Hazardous Substances? œ Exposure to Hazardous Substances œ Container Labeling œ Material Safety Data Sheet • MSDS œ Asbestos œ MDA - Methylenedianiline TESTING: Quizzes - All quizzes must be passed with a 100% to proceed forward to the next lesson. Final Exam- Final Exam must be passed with a 70% to pass the course. The final exam can be taken three times if necessary.
