DESCRIPTION

The AGC Supervisory Training Program (STP) is designed to meet the specific needs of the early-career construction supervisor. Unit 6: Understanding and Managing Project Costs, 5th Edition, describes the value of effective supervision of workers to improve the supervisor's ability to manage costs in the construction process.

Unit 6 covers: construction estimates, who controls project costs, reporting and analyzing actual costs, labor cost variances, working with project partners, and much more.

This Participant's Manual, designed as a workbook for students to follow along with the course and use as a reference guide, leads participants through course discussions and activities.
