DESCRIPTION

The AGC Supervisory Training Program (STP) is designed to meet the specific needs of the early-career construction supervisor. Unit 1: Leadership and Motivation, 6th Edition, describes the value of effective supervision of workers to improve the supervisor’s ability to lead and motivate others.

Unit 1 covers: the dollars and sense of people in construction, the role of the construction supervisor, helping people perform better, motivating and leading others, team building and much more.

This Participant’s Manual, designed as a workbook for students to follow along with the course and use as a reference guide, leads participants through course discussions and activities.
